The splendid landscape of the Roman countryside, eternal vacation spot for popes and emperors, located among vineyards, volcanic lakes, and picturesque medieval towns, among which Castel Gandolfo, the Pope's splendid summer residence. A stop for local delicacies and wine tasting is available upon request.

Our first stop is in Castel Gandolfo to see the Pope's summer residence and the Belvedere, where you'll get a unique view of Albano Lake, famous for the international nautical and rowing competition. We will pass through other small and picturesque towns until we reach Nemi. Nemi is known for its strawberries, for which a traditional Fair is held annually in June, and also for the memories of the pagan goddess Diana: its lovely small volcanic lake is named after her, otherwise known as “Diana's Mirror”.

Rocca di Papa will enchant you: a volcanic rock with houses clinging to its sides, the steep and torturous lanes of the primitive village were built in the 1300s. Our tour ends in Frascati: it's a gastronomic obligation to stop and taste the typical roasted suckling pig spiced with aromatic herbs and the local wine before driving back to Rome!

The Art of Guiding: It is the skill of selecting information and varying it for different audiences. It is the skill of presenting in a simple and precise way. It is the skill of allowing the visitor to look and to see and to understand. It is a skill which, if well performed, is invisible. If it is missing, then it is all too evident.
