PROFESSIONAL
I have been working for many years as a licensed tour
guide accompanying groups across Europe in tours lasting
30-40 days. Since 1996 I worked exclusively as a Roman
tourist guide, guiding groups and individual clients,
as well as visitors of various origins who have come
to Rome for cultural, religious or commercial events.
These experiences with tourists of varied cultures
have given me a deeper insight to human psychology
and a greater awareness of the many issues that arise
when dealing with a client's idea of a "perfect"
tour. I often work with special clients (diplomats
and show-biz personalities) who have particular needs
concerning safety and privacy and require qualified
assistance.
As the holder of a Doctorate degree in Historical
Sciences, I like to investigate the historical aspects
and socio-cultural characteristics of the city, looking
for the motives behind the construction of every monument
and the creation of each particular work of art produced
at a certain time in history
a true never-ending
story!
SOMETHING MORE ABOUT ME
· I like sports: I work out regularly and I
like hiking in the mountains, the wide views and the
silence.
· I love eating, but only food that is especially
delicious and well-prepared; it really has to be worth all the fat and calories
that are always so hard to shed.
· I mainly read history and non-fiction books,
but also read historical fiction and classics.
